Context

Work within the NEM-Emerge European project to integrate Nemo modules into the NemaDecide decision-support software.

Problem

Convert soil counts and virulence measures into parcel-level infestation indicators and simulate the effects of rotation/control scenarios.

Solution

Nemo API provides:

  • ingestion of soil counts and parcel metadata;
  • computation of infestation indicators and scenario simulations;
  • structured JSON outputs consumable by NemaDecide for visualization and recommendations.

Technologies

  • Python (REST API), endpoints documented (OpenAPI if required).
  • Unit tests and example datasets for integration.

Impact

  • Operational integration into NemaDecide®: contextualized advice, reduced treatments, optimized variety selection.
